Elite Face Treatment: stimulating skin renewal without damage

Elite Face Treatment: stimulating skin renewal without damage

Many advanced skin treatments rely on controlled damage to trigger renewal. While effective, this approach is not always suitable for every skin type or lifestyle. Our Elite Face Treatment using TeslaMed technology works differently. Instead of stressing the skin, it focuses on activating it.

This less invasive approach offers several practical advantages for most skin types and lifestyles:

  • comfortable for most clients
  • no visible recovery time
  • suitable for busy lifestyles
  • can be performed year round, including summer

The focus is on stimulating the skin’s natural repair mechanisms while maintaining the integrity of the skin barrier.

How the treatment works

The Elite Face Treatment is performed using the TeslaMed system. The technology is based on principles derived from the work of Nikola Tesla and works through carefully controlled electrical pulses.

TeslaMed is a multi award winning system protected by international patents. While it incorporates known principles such as microcurrents and ion flows, it functions as an integrated activation platform rather than a conventional microcurrent device.

Multiple mechanisms work together within one treatment, allowing the skin to be activated on different levels at the same time, without overloading or stressing the skin.

Ion flows create controlled ionisation of air particles at the skin surface. This results in mild exfoliation, helping to remove dead skin cells and refine the skin texture. During this process, an ozonelike effect occurs, which supports antibacterial activity and helps restore balance within the skin barrier. This makes the treatment suitable for acne prone skin, redness and impaired barrier function.

At the same time, microcurrents stimulate deeper skin layers. These low level electrical pulses improve circulation, enhance oxygen delivery and increase cellular energy production (in the form of ATP). This process activates skin cells and supports fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production.

Activation without skin damage

Unlike treatments that rely on controlled injury, the TeslaMed based Elite Face Treatment does not damage the skin structure. The cells responsible for firmness and volume in the skin (fibroblasts) are activated on a cellular level rather than through trauma. This leads to visible firming without pain or recovery time.

Because pigment cells are not stimulated, the risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation remains very low. At the same time, superficial pigmentation can be treated in a controlled and precise manner.

What makes this treatment truly distinctive is the way it works on a cellular level.

Instead of triggering change by damaging collagen fibres, TeslaMed uses patented microcurrent signalling to create subtle, controlled contractions within the cells responsible for firmness and volume in the skin (fibroblasts).

You can think of it like this: many technologies work by damaging the collagen network to force repair.

TeslaMed works differently. Instead of tearing the web, it influences the spider. By activating the fibroblast directly, the skin structure tightens and reorganises itself without first being damaged.

This explains why the treatment can deliver an immediate firming effect, without pain or visible recovery, while also supporting long term improvement in skin quality.

Enhanced absorption of active ingredients

During the treatment, TeslaMed works through controlled exfoliation of the outermost layer of the skin (stratum corneum). This creates a refined skin surface and temporarily improves skin permeability.

The effect is comparable to exfoliation (like a scrub, or chemical peel), but renewal takes place through gentle electrical stimulation (the ion flows). This allows the skin to be refined while respecting its structure.

After this controlled renewal, targeted skin barrier recovery and hydration follow. This temporarily improves skin permeability, allowing active ingredients to be absorbed more effectively while supporting healthy skin function.

Comparable to carefully refining (or sanding) a surface before nourishing it, a superficial layer is renewed to improve quality, after which hydration and recovery are essential.

Each session is completed with carefully selected active ingredients, tailored to the skin’s condition and goals, to support optimal recovery and long term results.

Results and treatment approach

The Elite Face Treatment can be used in different ways, depending on the needs of the skin.

The treatment can be performed as a single session for an immediate boost, as a weekly course for more intensive skin improvement, or as a monthly maintenance treatment to support long term skin health.

Each session is adapted to the wishes and skin goals of the client. Possible focus areas include:

  • skin firming and tightening
  • acne support
  • texture refinement
  • pigmentation
  • overall skin vitality
  • non surgical eyelid lift
  • removal of skin tags or fibromas
  • treatment of superficial pigment spots

Many clients notice visible improvement after one session, with results building progressively when treatments are repeated.

When results may vary

Skin response is influenced by several internal and external factors.

Lifestyle factors

Lifestyle factors can also play a role. Smoking reduces circulation, while (excessive) alcohol consumption can slow down the skin’s natural recovery processes.

Hydration and barrier function

The treatment activates regeneration, but without sufficient hydration these processes cannot function efficiently. Factors such as: increased transepidermal water loss and/or chronically dehydrated skin (often due to a compromised skin barrier) can limit results.

Connective tissue condition

In some cases, fibroblasts are less effectively connected to collagen fibres as a result of factors such as sun damage, ongoing inflammation, excessive treatment or prolonged dehydration.

In these situations, extending the interval between treatments to two to four weeks allows the skin to restructure more effectively.

Home care products

Products containing allergens, exfoliating acids or very rich formulations can interfere with the skin’s recovery after ion flow exfoliation. After treatment, it is essential to use gentle products that hydrate the skin, support moisture balance and allow the skin to recover without feeling heavy or occlusive.

A thorough intake helps identify these factors and ensures the treatment plan is adapted accordingly.

Conclusion

At Salon d’Homme, the focus has always been on achieving visible skin improvement in the most effective and least invasive way possible. The Elite Face Treatment (using TeslaMed technology) aligns with this philosophy by activating the skin’s natural repair processes without unnecessary stress or damage.

We are confident that this innovation offers a valuable addition to our treatment portfolio for clients seeking long term skin health with minimal disruption to daily life.
