SALON D’HOMME
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 These Terms of Service apply to all services, treatments, products, gift cards, and transactions provided by Salon d’Homme.
1.2 By booking a treatment, purchasing a product, or otherwise using our services, the client agrees to these Terms of Service.
1.3 Salon d’Homme reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on our website.
2. TREATMENTS
2.1 Clients may request a preferred specialist; however, this cannot be guaranteed. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Salon d’Homme reserves the right to assign an alternative specialist at its discretion.
2.2 Treatment descriptions provided on our website are indicative. The exact treatment protocol may be adjusted based on the client’s skin condition, skin concerns, and treatment goals. Any adjustments will always be discussed with the client prior to treatment.
2.3 Pre- and post-treatment protocols are communicated through relevant articles on our website, appointment confirmation emails, and reminder communications sent prior to the appointment.
3. PRODUCTS & WEBSHOP
3.1 Product descriptions, recommendations, and categorisations on our website are provided for informational purposes only. Individual results may vary.
3.2 While we make every effort to provide clear information regarding product suitability and usage, we strongly recommend contacting Salon d’Homme for personalised product advice tailored to your specific skin needs and concerns.
3.3 Salon d’Homme cannot be held responsible for the misuse of products, incorrect application, or the use of products that may not be suitable for a client’s individual skin condition.
3.4 Orders are processed with care. If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Salon d’Homme will inform the client and offer a suitable alternative or refund.
3.5 Product returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, available on our website.
4. GIFT CARDS
4.1 Salon d’Homme gift cards are available for purchase in predefined values or custom amounts.
4.2 Gift cards may be redeemed for any product or service offered by Salon d’Homme.
4.3 The monetary value of a gift card does not expire. However, if the price of a treatment has increased since the gift card was purchased, the client will be required to pay the difference at the time of redemption.
4.4 Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATION POLICY
5.1 Appointments may be scheduled online, by telephone, or in-store. Clients will receive confirmation via email.
5.2 To minimise no-shows and last-minute cancellations, first-time clients are required to prepay their appointment in full. Appointments are only confirmed once payment has been received. If payment has not been received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, the appointment will be automatically cancelled and the time slot may be released.
5.3 For returning clients, prepayment may not be required where Salon d’Homme has securely stored valid payment card details. By booking an appointment without prepayment, the client authorises Salon d’Homme to charge the stored payment method in accordance with this cancellation policy.
5.4 We understand that schedules can change and aim to be as flexible as possible. Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Where applicable, prepaid appointments cancelled within this timeframe will be refunded in full.
5.5 Cancellations, reschedules, missed appointments, or no-shows within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged the full service price.
5.6 In the event of late arrival, the appointment may be shortened to ensure timely scheduling for other clients. The full treatment fee will remain payable.
6. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER
6.1 Salon d’Homme is not liable for allergic reactions, skin irritations, adverse skin responses, or other complications resulting from treatments or products where the client has failed to disclose relevant medical information, allergies, sensitivities, or contraindications.
6.2 Prior to their first treatment, clients are required to complete an introductory consultation and anamnesis form, through which relevant health, lifestyle, and skincare information is collected.
6.3 Salon d’Homme provides professional skincare advice and treatment recommendations based on available information and professional judgement. Individual results may vary and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
6.4 Salon d’Homme accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during a visit.
7. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
7.1 Personal information collected by Salon d’Homme is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.
7.2 By using our services, clients acknowledge and agree to the collection, storage, and processing of personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
8.1 These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
8.2 Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms of Service shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
